YEEZY tAUGHT mE

 Back in December of 2023 I fell in love with my true passion, MUSIC. My whole life I knew I wanted to do something with MUSIC I just didn’t know what. Tried rapping, writing EVERYTHING……nope wasn’t good at none of it. Then I got put on to the Fry Yiy Show which got me into doing DJ mix sets, I was good but couldn’t promote myself due to Copyright laws. That’s when I got the idea to release them “Chopped & Screwed” (the greatest MUSIC genre there is) I’ll never forget when I made my first 30 minute mix, that was the only thing I would listen to for months. One day I was chilling with this female I was crushing on and I was playing the mix (my first time playing anything around someone in person) she gonna say “wtf is this it sucks” man I was devastated. But I had to realize “Chopped & Screwed” wasn’t for everybody. And that’s what got me into mashups & remixes. I would hear a song and be like “okay this sounds good but this is what I would have done.” I started taking some of my favorite songs and making them my way which aloud me to finally be able to promote my craft. Man my songs started to take off on SoundCloud, I went from 5 plays to over 500 plays a day. So I told myself, each month I would drop a project that combined all the varies types of mashup/remixes I do. IN MY BAG WAS BORN. Little did I know how big it’ll all blow up, from getting radio play WORLDWIDE to well known Artist reaching out to me, I knew I was on to something. May was the last month I did a tape before so I started dropping smaller EPS. The more songs I did the better I got and the more creative I became with it. I remember i used to come home and literally make 20+ tracks a night up until 5-6 o’clock in the morning I didn’t care about nothing else, I was in love. Making the EPs really allowed me to slow down and perfect my craft and let me slow done to only making 2-3 every couple days. To celebrate my few accomplishments, I will be releasing all the In My Bag tapes on all major streaming platforms.
